Festival de Cannes

At the age of 17 and 23, my sister and I wrote, produced, filmed and edited a short film that allowed us to climb the iconic stairs at Cannes.
Lest you think we only made comedies: the short was actually a heavy, dramatic piece about a man’s journey to recovery after a fatal car accident. (We were very deep 17 and 23-year-olds).

Our short did not win but we walked away with a far more prestigious list of achievements:
- Unlike most of the press, we did not flee the theater during the premiere of Lars von Trier’s Antichrist - despite being seated directly next to our mother.
- We met Isabelle Huppert, president of the Cannes Jury (and french legend)
- We had the foresight to wear closed-toe shoes when meeting Quentin Tarantino.

Ok ok, back to the actual work.
